His primary role is to eternally torment players by sneakily hiding himself inside hero packs. Literally every pack.

Ok I’m quite new here, why Dreaf is such a meme?
It says so on this page. He is a meme for being extremely common in draws. In all honesty, he is probably about as common as the other common heroes, but he is particularly noticeable because he is a tiny plant. He is the hero whose visuals drives home the point of being “useless” the most.
